Introduction
《自由颂》本来是一首有158节的诗,迪奥尼西欧斯·所洛莫斯在1823年著成,尼古劳斯·曼杂洛斯把此诗谱成音乐。1865年,前两个节成为希腊的官方国歌,塞浦路斯也以此为国歌,为稀有的“一国歌两国用”的例子。1960年8月16日,宣布独立,成立塞浦路斯共和国。开始启用《自由颂》成为塞浦路斯的国歌。
