Introduction

《苏维埃社会主义共和国联盟国歌》，其中文非正式曲名又因1944版/1977版首句（牢不可破的联盟自由的共和国【直译】）而译为《牢不可破的联盟》，简称《神圣的联盟》即《苏联颂》。原为全联盟共产党（布尔什维克）（即苏联共产党）党歌，作于1939年，由瓦西里·列别捷夫-库马奇作词，由伟大的苏联作曲家亚历山大·瓦西里耶维奇·亚历山德罗夫作曲。
到了上世纪30年代末，苏联宣布社会主义胜利后决定更改国歌。第二次世界大战期间，苏联政府决定制定一首能激励民心的新国歌《苏联颂》，最后选中由谢尔盖·米哈尔科夫（Сергей Владимирович Михалков）和葛布列·艾尔瑞杰斯坦将党歌歌词修改过的歌曲《牢不可破的联盟》，1943年12月苏联人民委员会通过批准新国歌的决议，到1944年3月15日，新国歌在全国被正式采用。
斯大林逝世后，赫鲁晓夫上台，在苏共党内批判斯大林的运动中，原歌词作者之一的米哈尔科夫对国歌歌词作了修改，剔除了对斯大林个人崇拜的成分。勃列日涅夫时期的1977年5月27日最高苏维埃批准了修改过了的国歌。
俄罗斯联邦的国歌歌名为《俄罗斯，我们神圣的祖国》，沿用的是前苏联国歌《牢不可破的联盟》的旋律。2000年12月25日，俄罗斯总统普京正式签署了一项关于国旗、国徽、国歌的法案，将前苏联国歌经修改歌词后正式订为新国歌，即《俄罗斯，我们神圣的祖国》。
