Introduction
《小放牛》是流行于河北民间的歌舞小戏。是民间歌舞小戏《小放牛》中的一段载歌载舞的男女对唱。内容描写村姑向牧童问路 ，俏皮的牧童故意留难的对答情景。
由4个乐句组成，音调明快流畅、富于表情。曾流传全国汉族地区，且常被融于戏曲音乐之中。《小放牛》又指主要流行于河北省的同名民歌，原为昆曲中的《吹腔》曲牌，是笛子独奏家陆春龄等演奏的南方曲笛代表性曲目。全曲三段：第一段主要用平吹，旋律悠扬恬静；第二、三段用吐音与平吹交替演奏对句，速度较快，曲尾转调，情绪明朗清新。音乐富于抒情的民歌色彩和浓郁的田园风格，表现天真活泼的村姑与牧童相互诘问、对答的明快情绪。
