简介：

巡逻兵进行曲（American Patrol）：又称《美国巡逻兵进行曲》。有一名美国陆军士兵，名字叫米查姆。他非常热爱自己的国家，并为自己是一名光荣的美国巡逻兵而感到自豪。于是他写下了这首流芳百世，著名的《巡逻兵进行曲》。

概述：

《巡逻兵进行曲》（管弦乐曲）——米查姆曲。一译《巡逻兵》，管乐曲，后被改编为管弦乐曲、口琴曲、木琴曲等。乐曲根据美国闻名歌曲的旋律谱成，采用二部曲式（AB），F大调，中速，2/4拍。音乐首先奏出模拟小军鼓声响的引子，紧接着呈现的主题A，节奏明快，布满轻松活泼的气氛，表现了巡逻兵队列轻捷的步伐。随后呈示的主题B坚定有力，如同一首众人齐唱的青年歌曲，与主题A形成对比。接着旋律又转为轻快，最后用与主题A相似的乐句结束。
为了表现巡逻兵队伍由近而远的动态，演奏最后一段时通常逐渐减弱音量，用隐约可闻的鼓声和乐声，来表现巡逻兵队伍越走越远。
