Introduction

《旧日的足迹》创作于1985年，歌曲灵感来自于家驹的一位好友MIKE LAU。MIKE LAU故乡在北京，为了学电影而远赴美国，十年后终于回到故乡，感触颇深。他来到香港后与家驹畅谈自己的感想，家驹便将他这份思念故乡的情怀写进《旧日的足迹》一曲之中。

《旧日的足迹》最先收录于1986年自资盒带《再见理想》中，而后在《现代舞台》中重现。两个版本最明显的区别在于后者将曲中前奏由电吉他改为钢琴，节奏更加明朗。
