Introduction

《童年》由罗大佑在念大学的时候开始写这首歌，总共花了三年时间，在大学毕业前一年的1979年才写完；在创作过程中，他把所有的时间都用在如何精确地让歌词和旋律密合，而同时又不失去口语的质感。
同时《童年》这首歌也是罗大佑创作道路上的分水岭，自此“词曲咬合”成为他最重要的创作课题之一：不管诉求的讯息多么强烈，他都会细心让旋律和字句一体交融，让音乐成为主角。
