李斯特最难的曲目之一，虽然音符密度还不到拉三第三乐章的一半，织体没有拉赫玛尼诺夫那么沉重，但是对于灵活性要求极高，拥有高达31度的极限大跳，八度跳跃以及重复更是随处可见。基本上手没有11度大是无法练下来这首曲子的。目前只有Valentina Lisitsa可以完美演奏。
