电视动画《进击的巨人》最终季Part.1的片头曲。
歌曲由の子负责作词和作编曲，歌词由一段主唱の子花10秒钟想出来的咒文[1](啦～啦哩啦～啦啦哩哩哩啦～)和英语第三段主歌与副歌为日语，为の子使用变声器所唱女声组成。此曲由于其整体压抑且略显诡异（阴间）的旋律，配合上MV的各种战争意象，让人直观（上头）地感受到战争对人性的扭曲和人类对战争的控诉。[2]
不过，实际上，《我的战争》原曲描述的是主唱の子的学生时代，其表达的主旨是对于校园暴力的控诉。《进击的巨人》原作者谏山创亲自点名邀请神圣放逐乐队创作这首歌曲并作为其漫改最终季Part.1的片头曲，并为其绘制专辑封面插画。
原曲内的咒文是使用Roland品牌的合成器吟唱的。
