Introduction

Fig Leaf Rag 是著名美国黑人作曲家、钢琴家Scott Joplin(1868一1917)的经典ragtime作品之一。
作为ragtime三大巨头之一的Scott Joplin，他的“Piano Rags”对美国音乐之影响在这碟的BOOKLET中有这样的评价：“a Joplin Rag is to America what a Chopin Mazurka is to Poland”。
