Introduction

这是一部5幕歌剧由穆索尔斯基自己撰脚本，作于1872-1880年，未完成，由里姆斯基-科萨科夫整理完成。故事叙述俄罗斯历史上1682到1698年间企图篡夺费奥多一世皇位而暴乱的霍万兴那父子及分离派教徒的悲剧。此剧后来还有拉威尔、斯特拉文斯基编写管弦乐、肖斯塔科维奇编写管弦乐版。
