《sister's noise》是TV动画《某科学的超电磁炮S》的OP1，由fripSide演唱。

简介

歌曲通过富有侵略性的电音，继承了电磁炮系列一如既往的燃曲风格，而旋律还略带忧伤，让人有一种很严肃的印象，暗示着动画第二季相应部分的剧情氛围会比较沉重。
整首歌以燃为主，歌词中表达了一如既往的以“守护”为主题的情感，旋律上也多了一分坚毅与无奈。
曲名中的“sister”指的是御坂妹妹们，与动画第二季的主题相契合，而“noise”指的可能是妹妹们的能力“缺陷电气（Radio Noise）”。
歌词甚至还致敬了原作的一些名台词，有一定量的剧透，揭示了少量的剧情走向。
sat在这首歌上注入了大量的时间和热情，花费了接近半年的时间来制作，而之前最努力的歌曲是《LEVEL5-judgelight-》。sat对这首歌也有着非常高的评价，连自己都认为做得很好。
sat很希望能让歌词紧密地符合剧情，因此在这首歌的制作上，与以往不同，是将歌词放在重要的第一顺位上的，勾勒出适当程度的雏形后才开始谱曲。
制作方本想让fripSide制作柔和些的歌曲，而结果却一点都不柔和。sat认为最后的成品在旋律和歌词上都有虐心的感觉，或许算得上是把柔和歌曲和超电磁炮那充满电能的音乐顺利地融合起来了。
南条爱乃从这首歌开始试着改变了下唱法，sat透露曲子刚开始制作时要慢10个BPM，编曲也是完全不一样的。
PV《brother's noise》依旧槽点满满，双胞胎御坂弟弟搞笑艺人ザ・たっち出演了这次PV。在fripSide的舞滨演唱会上，南条唱到这首压轴曲时，搞笑艺人再次乱入，一度令南条笑场。
fripSide少数的有编舞的歌曲，演唱会上唱到这首歌的时候，南条通常会化身为炮姐和伴舞的御坂妹妹们一起跳舞。
同名单曲发售后，获得了Oricon单曲周榜第1位的成绩。虽然是以fripSide名义，但南条也成为了第三位获此殊荣的声优歌手。
精选专辑《the very best of fripSide》与单曲《legendary future》的三作同时购入アニメイト店铺联动特典CD收录了井内舞子的混音版本《sister's noise (REMIX: 井内舞子)》。
三期专辑《double Decades》收录了三期翻唱版本《sister's noise -version 2022-》。
