作为日本流行乐坛的经典名曲之一，这首由女子乐团ZONE在2001年演唱的歌曲，曾飙升至日本公信榜的第二位，两度登上红白合战[1]的舞台，成为ZONE乐团史上销量最高的单曲。同时也是TBS电视连续剧《孩子们的烦恼3》主题曲。

ZONE乐团于2005年解散，但2011年4月番《我们仍未知道那天所看见的花的名字。》再次翻唱此曲作为片尾曲。借人气动画的声势，及歌词中“10年后的8月里坚信能再次相遇（10年後の8月また出会えるのを信じて）”，2011年8月ZONE复出举办演唱会。
